DYSLEXIA RESEARCH INSTITUTE WOODLAND HALL ACADEMY CHANGING LIVES SINCE 1975

You Can Make a Difference In the Lives of Children with Dyslexia/ADHD. If children can’t learn the way we teach, WE NEED TO TEACH THE WAY THEY LEARN!

Dyslexia Research Institute/Woodland Hall Academy has been doing just that since 1975. Children with dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorders learn differently! Woodland Hall Academy, with the guidance from research through Dyslexia Research Institute, has developed a nationally recognized program for teaching them differently. It’s not just small classes, but what you do in those classes that make a difference! |
Active learning (Making all that hyper energy work for them not against them. None of our children with ADHD are on medication to “control them”. They learn to control themselves.)
It costs over $20,000 per year to provide this program to a child. The board of directors of Dyslexia Research Institute has pledged to raise scholarship monies so that the financial burden is not crushing or beyond the reach of parents. Every child in Woodland Hall is on a partial scholarship. Scholarships, including the McKay Scholarship, range from $2,000 to $10,000.
You can help provide this opportunity to our children by joining us at Casino Island Night, February 8, 2008.
Helping others has never been so much fun! |
