The main goal of the Casino Island Night for 2012 is to raise money for The Dyslexia Research Institute which partially funds Woodland Hall Academy (WHA), a school for bright children with dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorders.

WHA opened in 1975 in Tallahassee as a full-time (1st - 12th grade) school designed to remediate and prevent the learning and behavior problems associated with the dyslexic and ADD/ADHD student.
At our 2011 event, we raised over $15,000 which helped change the lives of children with dyslexia/ADHD.
The proceeds of the 2011 Casino Island Night event went to provide scholarships to allow children with dyslexia/ADD to attend small classes and receive individualized instruction in a supportive environment that Changes Lives!
Our goal for 2012 is $20,000.
